March 12th (continuation)
At our appointment with the Pediatrician, she wanted us to start putting Trevor in his highchair and letting him taste stage 1 baby food and cereal. She wants him to be used to having something in his mouth and associate his highchair with feeding time, so that when the GI doctors finally "OK" food by mouth he will be already use to it.

I had a jar of Pears in the closet so I started with that. We have already had him in his highchair before. He likes to sit up high so he can look around and see whats going on. I usually put him in it when I am working in the kitchen. He loved the pears and actually swallowed it without choking. We only gave him little bits at a time just to see how he would react.
"Mommy? What are you doing?"
"Mmmm... that was tasty"
"No Mommy. This is how you do it"
"He did really well."

Trevor's Great Grandma and Grandpa Glunt have been in Sanibel Island for the week (west coast of Florida). On their way back to Ohio they stopped by with good friends Jane and Don. This was Trevor's first visit with them and it took him a little getting used to having so many people around him. After visiting at the house we all went out to Cracker Barrel for dinner. Trevor slept most of the night and woke up as we were getting ready to leave.

March 14th
Saturday was my Grandma's birthday. They planned to head out for Ohio early so we met them for breakfast at the Denny's next door to their hotel. Trevor was in a better mood and actually handed out some smiles for everyone. He is always so content and was so good at breakfast. He is always too busy checking everything out to get upset.
When we got home from breakfast, Jay attempted to feed Trevor again. After the pears the other day, I attempted with Bananas and oatmeal. He didn't like either. I mixed the oatmeal with the pears and he loved it.
I mixed the oatmeal with sweet potato's and Trevor gave Jay a hard time but he did eat some. Jay kept tricking him by giving him a toy (which he would put in his mouth) and Jay would sneak in the food.

We spent the 1st part of the day at the new house. Jay ran wire for fans and put up the fan in our room. I cleaned part of the kitchen (needed a chair to stand on so quit) and 1/2 the guest bathroom floor. With all the chemicals, I quit to take Trevor home as I was feeling dizzy and he was getting fussy. He was on the other side of the house so he probably didn't feel the effect, probably just bored, but I will finish the cleaning when I don't have him.
Ashley came down, as it was my Dad's birthday. It was such a nice day. 84 degrees! Jay and Trevor hung out on the hammock.
We grilled out and played some horseshoes. Daddy pulled Trevor around in the wagon, until he broke it. He went to push him backwards, hit a patch of grass, and snapped the handle off. There goes Trevor's 1st driving lesson.

At breakfast Saturday, Grandma asked if me and my sister would be doing cartwheels down to the water in April at Treasure Island, as we did when we were little. I hadn't done a cartwheel in years so...
...Which started my Dad...

Waiting for the shuttle.
The shuttle was scheduled to go off at 7:43 pm. So we all hung out before eating dinner.
