April 12th- April 14th

April 12th - Trevor's 1st Easter
I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter. I made dinner at home Saturday night as we planned to have dinner at my parents house today.
Trevor looks pretty sleepy below. This was before I had to put the helmet on him and was his last night of sleeping without it.

This is a Yellow Duck from Aunt Lena.

And a Green Duck from Uncle Eric.

And an Easter basket from Grandma and Grandpa Brauner. He loved the way Mommy and Daddy's candy made scrunchy sounds when he rifled thru the basket.

And the day begins. His expression says it all. He hates this thing!

But I got him to smile by singing to him.

He forgot about it for a few seconds but then decided he wanted to try and escape the helmet. Poor guy!

Daddy decided he was going to cut the grass at 8:30 am on Easter Sunday, I'm sure the neighbors loved him, but we got him to take a break to dye Easter Eggs.

Trevor playing with a block at the table.

"Trevor's 1st Easter Egg"These are our Easter Eggs minus 1. Jay handed it to Trevor and he threw it! Ahh! Good thing they were not raw!

After dyeing eggs we sat on the pool deck and watched Daddy do more yard work.

This is a video below. Bunny given by Great Grandma and Grandpa Glunt. He smiles every time I play it!
This is a video below. We were waiting for Daddy to get done so we could leave for my parents house. He was WAY past nap time.

Trevor throwing his pacifier at Easter Dinner. Oh look! His feet are on the table. He always has his feet in the air. The red spot on his forehead is the pressure point on the helmet.

Watching Daddy eat.... with his foot on the table still.
He likes playing with Puppies... but... he also likes pulling their ears. This is Aunt Ashley's dog, Jordan.

Searching for Trevor's Easter basket from Grandma and Grandpa Prosser. I think they found it.

Lot's and Lot's of books... Trevor loves being read to and he likes to chew on the books too!

And finally.... Nap time!
This is a video below... Trevor loves mirrors. We were getting ready to take a bath and he kept peaking around the corner.

April 14th
We had a bad storm come thru mid-morning. Pretty wicked wind... and he slept right thru it.

He spent a lot of time in his Jumper. He will finally touch his toes to the ground but he hasn't figured out the whole jumping thing. He does turn himself around in it to the different toys. I tried to get him to do it in the video but he only does a little. He uses his arms which is great considering he is pretty weak in his upper body.

I love this expression and his raised eyebrow!

There's a smile!

Chewing on the Sun
We all went out to Applebees for Dinner and Trevor fell asleep. We went for ice cream after and Mommy and Daddy ate WAY too much ice cream!

It was bath time when we got home and Daddy helped!

Daddy washed his toes... and his nose!

And Trevor washed his head!

I love this video below. Trevor makes me laugh every time he does! My memory card became full so the video kind of cuts off.

March 31st - April 10th

March 31st
I had my second interview with Fired Up Pizza. They were scheduled to open in January and now plan to open in a few weeks. They have hired me as a server/bartender (beer and wine only) and are suppoused to callme 4/13 to start training.
April 1st
We stayed our first night at the new house. Not everything was moved in yet but we were able to get our bed up.
April 2nd
We had a morning appointment with Early Steps. This was a consultation to see if Trevor qualified for any of the State Funded Therapy. Because of his diagnosis, he is automatically qualified but we had to find out what he needed. We met with a Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapist. After performing different tasks with Trevor and observing him they determined that he would need only Physical and Speech Therapy. They have approved him for 6 months before re-evaluation. Physical Therapy will be one hour, once a week and Speech Therapy will be one hour, once a month.
April 3rd
Went grocery shopping for Jay's birthday.
April 4th HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAY!
Jay had to get up and go to work in the morning. He had some friends from work coming over with their wives and children to celebrate his 26th birthday. Trevor helped me in the kitchen before everyone arrived. He likes to chew on the spoons.

The cutest Easter Bunny

I was wearing the ears...that is why he is looking at me that way.
April 5th
We woke up early and hung out poolside. Trevor took his first dip in a pool. The water was pretty chilly. He was fine until the water was belly-button level and then he got upset. He loved chewing on the sponge balls though and letting the water run down him.

Fell asleep playing with Mommy's Sunglasses

Jake walks on the bottom...

Playing in his walker.

Can you tell he just woke up from his nap?

Putting sunscreen on for his first dip in the pool.

"Ok Mom... stop taking pictures and let's go swimming!"

Chilly Water

Not so sure about the big bathtub

Would rather lay on the float

Daddy and Trevor

Not quite sure if he wants to go in any further
Would rather sit on the edge and chew on the ball.

Trying to get him to sit on the step with the ball
After swimming we played with every childs favorite... Bubbles! I am behind he camera and blowing the bubbles so forgive the bouncing camera.

Later that night we celebrated Jay's birthday with a cake that Trevor enjoyed. He is mesmerized my candles (flames). Jay thought it would be funny to blow out the candles when I was 1/2 way thru lighting them so the cake ended up with wax on the top.

Yummy!

Trevor stuck his hand in the cake and Daddy is helping clean him up.
April 7th
We ran many errands. I finally went to Social Security to make my name change official. Jake had a Vet appointment in the afternoon and they started him on allergy treatments to see if that is what is causing his itching.
April 8th
We finally finished moving everything from my Mom's house into the new house. Trevor got to sleep in his crib and slept thru the whole night. He didn't even wake up fussing/dreaming.
April 9th
We got a call that Trevor's helmet was ready. Me and my mom took a trip to Orlando to pick it up.
We took Trevor to his first baseball game. Brevard County Manatees vs. Daytona Cubs. Trevor did great and only got upset when there was a big play at home and everyone was yelling. We stayed until the top of the 6th inning as it got down to 66 degrees! We had plenty of blankets and he was dressed warm but we were not taking any chances.

Daddy bought him a Mini bat... and he liked to chew on it :)

First day of the helmet! He was to wear it one hour on, one hour off.. or until he reached 3 hours. He woreit for 45 minutes the first time and then tried taking it off. I gave him a long break before trying it again and we managed to get all 3 hours in.

Trying to take it off

"Mommy please get this thing off of me!"

Daddy picked up some Grouper on his way home so we grilled dinner by the pool.

Kicking...he likes when the wind blows.
